Happy Holidays!

22 12 2011

It has been an eventful year for all of us here at KDA-UK. We’ve met so many people, we’ve made so many friends and our number of students are slowly increasing. This is all thanks to all of you, parents and students, who have supported us! We would not be here if not for your continued presence and support – in and out of the dojo.

And as another year comes to an end, we would like express our deepest gratitude towards all of you. Thank you very much! Or better yet – “Arigatou Gozaimasu!” in Japanese!

We look forward to seeing you all again in the coming year! Classes start on January 7, 2011 on all our centres!

Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ossu!

Competition Training

2 10 2011

As you may have heard during your classes, our club will be participating in a tournament this coming November 13 in Wolverhampton. This tournament is KATA only but there are many events to choose from ranging from individual performances to pairs and even adult-child combinations. Each event is divided into age groups and by rank so that everyone can have a good competition.

We would like everyone to support us in this endeavour and maximise the participation of students especially the young ones and the lower ranked coloured belts. Tournament training has started again every SUNDAY at HADLEY STADIUM from 1400 until 1700 (2pm until 5pm). Please be informed that non-participants on the training will not be allowed to join.

Tournaments aren’t always about winning but for gaining experience that makes us better karateka. Winning only comes as a side-effect of your hardwork.

See you Sunday!
